The project involved the conversion and extension of the former Ovaltine egg farm to provide modern headquarters office accommodation for RES, whilst using and demonstrating innovative renewable energy technologies, including a 50m wind turbine next to the M25. Beaufort court is the world-first in zero-emissions commercial office development. It uses up-to-the minute sustainable building techniques, high standards of energy efficiency and a range of clean technologies to provide all heat, cooling and power needs, and includes a popular Visitor Centre.
